TOYOTA MOTOR SALES, INC. is one of the largest automotive manufacturers in the world. As of 2009, the Toyota brand, including Lexus and Scion, officially lists approximately 70 different models sold under its namesake brand, including sedans, coupes, vans, trucks, hybrids, and crossovers.

The GOALS
Evolve an expensive, out-of-date technical training protocol to a more modern cost-effective model. Or, how we took Toyota from VHS to DVD to 3-D.
The TACTICS
Collaborating with skilled technical instructors, the MACRO Team developed user-friendly lesson plans for each training module. Using 3-D animation, we created a user-friendly interface with animated mechanics to show processes. Our proprietary technology enables Toyota to track the functional testing process, pull test results of their Service Technicians and analyze the effectiveness of the training session. Housing the skills lab online allows operators to update protocol instantaneously and simultaneously system-wide.
The RESULTS
MACRO communications streamlined Toyota’s ever-evolving technical training department with interactive online training and testing modules for Service Technicians. The user-friendly system allows technicians to log into the system, study and review material and be tested on their knowledge. Toyota is able to maintain their commitment to excellence in employees by having immediate access to test results. The online education modules can be instantly updated system-wide, saving time while producing an exceedingly cost effective education solution for Toyota.
