The MACRO Team launched a new website that included a user-friendly Content Management System, allowing continual updates of news, events and promotions. The new site includes the capability to directly contact stylist, esthetician or nail person to make an appointment. Site updates are complimented by a regiment of related email blasts and strategic social media placement. Overall the main goal was to make a website not look like a boxy website.
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Created soft edged images to match background while maintaining the grid structure needed for the responsive theme. The addition of Instagram feed allows live updates from the salon.
Like the presence of the salon, the imagery on the new website is beautiful and artful and is easy to modify as events and specials are announced. Salon Zinnia has a growing online presence that includes an opt-in email list of over 800 clients. Organic Google search is highly successful and the email campaign produces an average of 27% rate of opens and 12.3% of clicks. Subsequent online appointment booking has allowed on-site staff additional customer service time, resulting in an increase of retail sales.
